 The University of Gothenburg is an integral part of the city, consisting of many centrally located campus areas. The city of Gothenburg is open and accessible and a hub for knowledge and innovation. It offers almost everything you would expect of a cosmopolitan city – within walking distance. Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden and is located in the very heart of Scandinavia, being only a few hours away from Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo by train, or most big European cities by air. Public transportation will take you from bustling city streets to the west coast archipelago or deep green forests in 30 minutes.
